The Mountains Are Calling

The older I get, the more I realize I'm more of a 'mountains girl' than a 'beach girl.' There's just something about the rolling mountains and fresh air that leaves me feeling rejuvenated and full of life.

So when I recently had the opportunity to travel to Asheville, NC, I jumped at the chance. Asheville is a quick two hour trip from Charlotte, making it perfect for a weekend getaway.

During my trip, I stayed at the gorgeous and historic Omni Grove Park Inn. The view of the blue ridge mountains are breathtaking, and the food is to die for. (Seriously, I ate so much I was full for a week after!).

Over the three days I spent there, I relaxed at their luxurious spa, got adventurous at Navitiat, ate all of the food at their restaurants, and explored a lot of what downtown Asheville has to offer.

I wrote all about my experience for the Work For Your Beer blog. You can read the full article here.

Here are some photos from my trip!
