The wise Carrie Bradshaw once said, “The most challenging, exciting and significant relationship is the one you have with yourself.” And it’s so true. It’s important, as we navigate through this crazy thing called life, to love the person we spend the most time with: ourselves. Here are eight signs that you’re in a good relationship with yourself.
Bullet journals are the newest organization sensation and rightfully so. These simple yet effective tools are a great way to track past events, organize the present, and plan for the future. While using a bullet journal may be simple, learning how to initially make one can be overwhelming.
Before I sign-up for a race, I check the prior year race results. I'm always curious to know how many people ran last year and what the competition looked like. I consider myself a pretty average runner and tend to compete with myself more than others when running. But I still get a rush from a good race.

"I’m sorry." I find myself saying those two words entirely too much. How often does someone accidentally bump into you, but you’re the one who apologizes? How often do you apologize for canceling plans? How often do you apologize for forgetting even the most minuscule of things? For me, it’s too often.
This past Saturday was the first race of the season in the Run For Your Life Six Pack Race Series. It also served as the first day of my Novant Health Charlotte Marathon Ambassador duties.
Something really amazing happened recently. I was chosen to be a 2017 Charlotte Marathon Ambassador!! I am beyond excited to be one of the seventeen selected to represent the the marathon in the months leading up to the big race.
While living in tiny houses and fitting all of your belongings into one backpack may work for some people, that’s not the case for most. But that doesn’t mean we all can’t work towards living with less physical things so we can breathe life into other areas of our lives.
On November 11th, I’m running a marathon...again. In the wake of marathon training, I’ve been reflecting on why I run and how I fell in love with the sport.
